Our Mission

McHenry County Police Charities has been serving the children of McHenry County since 1994. Through numerous programs and events, most notably “Shop With a Cop” we support happy childhoods for McHenry County children. We are a 501 © 3 organization. All donations received are tax deductible.

We are often referred to as just “Shop With a Cop” (SWAC). However, the name of the charitable organization is McHenry County Police Charities (MCPC) and the name of our most recognized and influential program is “Shop With a Cop.”

Our People

The MCPC Board of Directors is comprised of all volunteers who dedicate their time to make a difference in the lives of McHenry County children. Board members are members from the law enforcement community, teachers, business owners, and community leaders.
