Welcome to McHenry County Police Charities!

In brief, you should know our mission; McHenry County Police Charities “Shop with A Cop” program has served the children of McHenry County since 1994. We are a “Not-for- Profit” organization, and receive funds through charity events, as well as private and business donations. Our purpose and goal is to provide aid to less fortunate children throughout McHenry County, and to establish a “bonding experience” with the law enforcement community. Through the generous support of this caring community, we have been able to aid over 300 children a year, by pairing them up with local police officers from Departments throughout McHenry County, for a fun filled day of Christmas and back to school shopping, at local Wal-Marts.
